Pearlyne Omamo
The firm is led by our Managing Partner, Pearlyne Omamo, who spent over five years with Walker Kontos Advocates in the Dispute Resolution, Litigation and Intellectual Property team.
Pearlyne regularly represents Clients in contentious matters before the Chief Magistrates Court, the High Court, the Environment & Land Court, the Employment & Labour Relations Court, the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court, the Registrar of Trade Marks and various tribunals such as the Industrial Property Tribunal.
Pearlyne also has specialized experience in intellectual property practice where she has handled both contentious and non-contentious matters relating to the registration and enforcement of plant breeders rights, trade marks, patents, copyrights and technovations. As a registered Patent Agent she also has extensive experience handling industrial design and patent registration matters.

Wambui Mwariri
Wambui holds the position of Of-Counsel in the firm and is a member of the Intellectual Property Department. She is admitted as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and is a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from Riara Law School and has a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
Her practice areas and experience cover providing commercial intellectual property advice, E-Commerce, IP litigation, advertising law and litigation, data protection and privacy, advice on drafting and/or negotiation of intellectual property agreements, and advice on the protection and enforcement of trade mark, patent, copyright and industrial designs. She advises clients on intellectual property issues arising within the manufacturing, IT, telecommunications and pharmaceutical sectors.
She also handles trade mark opposition and cancellation actions before the Registrar of Trademarks in Kenya as well as domain name disputes on behalf of clients of the firm.
Wambui spent four years with Coulson Harney LLP in the Dispute Resolution, Litigation and Intellectual Property team and has experience practicing across Africa and providing legal representation in intellectual property infringement actions, anti-counterfeiting raids, due diligence investigations and reports, drafting of licensing and franchise agreements, trade mark oppositions, trade mark cancellations, and domain name dispute resolutions before World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
